My Iris and her broken finger Part III

Update from my earlier post
Finally I managed to get a closure on this and a replacement hand for Iris is coming to me soon.

A few days after the Singapore post staff visited me for the inspection of Iris, one of the officers called to say that the report was sent to Japan Post Office side and ask me to inform the sender (i.e. Volks) to contact them if they want to seek compensation of the damaged item. The officer also informed me that no report will be provided to me.

I drop an email to Volks explaining the whole thing and also telling them that I was not able to obtain a report from my post office side. Volks instructed me to send the broken hand to them once they received the hand, they would contact me for follow up action. Volks is also very nice to offer to pay for the postage fee incurred.

Within a few days of sending out the hand , I received an email from Volks informing me of the delivery of a replacement hand to me and the tracking number. In addition, they also refunded me the postage through paypal.

I am very happy that this thing finally come to an end and I can have a COMPLETED Iris very very soon.
